Over the weekend, I spent a few hours in solitude. Sounds nice, right? To normal people it probably is. For me…I hate being by myself. At least for extended amounts of time. I am a people-person who loves to experience life with people.
Saturday morning (at 4am) I drove up to Flagstaff and set out on a bike ride to Mormon Lake and back. Over the course of my ride, I was constantly reminded of the goodness of God. I spent time worshipping the God of creation. I prayed. I listened. And I observed.
One song that came on my playlist was “Seasons Change” by United Pursuit. One of the lines says:
And the songs we sing
We still lift our praises to our loving God and King
Your love remains
Even in the midst of a global pandemic and uncertainty everywhere, God’s love remains. It is never ending. Never shaken. Always present.
So no matter the season you are walking through. Now or in the future, may you rest in the love of our Father.
And may this song bless you as it has me for so many plays.
Love you all!
Grace and Peace and Love.
