What We Believe

God is the all-loving Creator of heaven and earth. He eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus is eternal and fully divine. He became fully human, born of the virgin Mary. Though sinless, He was crucified and, through His resurrection, defeated the power of sin and death.

Jesus will return again to establish His eternal Kingdom. Everyone who responds to His life and teachings with genuine faith demonstrated through a transformed life will live forever with Him.

The Holy Spirit continually draws people to God. Through the Spirit, believers are adopted as God's children, transformed into the likeness of Christ, convicted of sin, encouraged, and empowered to serve others.

Human beings were created in the image of God.

That image has been broken by sin, which affects how we live, relate to God, and relate to one another.

Jesus perfectly reveals both who God is and what true humanity looks like. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He restores us into a relationship with God.

As people turn to God, accept Christ's work, and are transformed by the Holy Spirit, they become part of God's mission through the Church.

The Church is God's community, learning to love and expressing that love to the world.

Everyone who follows Jesus becomes a vital part of His Church. Every believer is called to live a life of love through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, given without regard to race or gender.

Salvation is God's free gift, offered to all people. By turning away from self-centered living, trusting in Christ's finished work, and turning toward God, we receive new and eternal life.

The Bible is God's inspired revelation and serves as our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

Baptism is the outward expression of the new life received through faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes the death of the old life and resurrection into new life with Christ.

Communion is a tangible reminder of Jesus' death and resurrection. Using bread and wine, believers remember Christ's body broken and blood poured out.

Anyone who follows Jesus is invited to participate.
