Student safety is one of our highest priorities. All adult leaders complete background checks and receive training before serving. We maintain appropriate adult-to-student ratios, follow check-in and check-out procedures when needed, and have clear policies for transportation, communication, and overnight events.

Absolutely! Students are encouraged to invite friends anytime, whether they've never been to church or have grown up in church. When a student comes for the first time, they will fill out our New Student Form so that they can stay in the loop about upcoming events and opportunities.

The best way to get connected is by consistently attending Sunday gatherings and joining a small group. Small groups are where students build friendships, ask questions, and are cared for by consistent adult leaders. Once your student is here, it is our desire and priority to help them feel at home. We will do our very best to help connect them to other students.

The easiest way is to follow McDowell Students on Instagram, subscribe to our texts by texting "studentlife" to 94000, and download the Church Center app to see upcoming events, registrations, and important announcements. Once your student attends one of our events, you will be automatically subscribed to our weekly parent emails.
