Care and Prayer

We are so glad you have found this page! Our hope is McDowell can be a place where people find love, support, and Christ's healing when struggling through life’s challenges.

21 Days of Prayer Challenge

McDowell kicked off 2024 with a vision of cultivating a rhythm of praying 3 times a day for 21 days. You can access more info and take the challenge HERE. This was inspired by our friends at 24/7 Prayer.

 Care Need and/or Stephen Minister

Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one Christian care ministry. If you would like to get more information about Stephen Ministry, speak to a pastor, or get a counseling referral, call our church office at 480-314-2400 or fill out this form.

God invites us to carry one another’s burdens and to pray for healing. When you have a need for which you would like prayer, we would love to pray for you.

 Prayer Shawl or Meals Request

If you (or someone you know) are part of our church community and would like to request a prayer blanket hand-made and prayed over by our Prayer Shawl Team, or would like to request a few meals to help in a challenging season, please let us know.

What is a Stephen Minister?

A Stephen Minister is a trained, qualified church member who will regularly meet with you to listen, talk and pray during a difficult season. To find out more, click HERE.

What about confidentiality?

Confidentiality is essential to building trust. We place a high value on protecting sensitive information and creating the best environment for helping you walk through life’s challenges. All of our pastors and Stephen Ministers are highly trained in confidentiality to create a safe, honest, and private place for you to share and receive God’s healing.

Do you have counseling?

You can set up an appointment with our Community Life Pastor Cameron Lippert by calling the church office at 480-314-2400 or emailing [email protected].
